I'm in. I have a new house. I'm in.

OK so the struggling musician is finally not struggling (well not struggling as much) for space.

It's a little on the chilly side - I think my room has a mild case of damp - I have contracted a cold through the stress of moving and through various other things which have been happening in my life - also my PC has now decided it's soundcard doesn't exist (something got jolted between hammersmith and ealing) - which is a massive problem unless I can fix it quick ....

because i'm going into the studio on wednesday for 3 days of mixing.

oh dear.

So after 2 and a half years it turns out that change is a wee bit weird and stressful.  I think the solution is for me to get rid of a load of 'stuff' that I have accumulated and live "light" with only a few possessions john lennon style - then I can change my life more often and have a richer experience (or a more shallow one depending on your point of view).;

It is nice to be able to sit at a proper desk and type rather than squashed in front of a chest of drawers, although the cold combined with the dodgy PC means the last few hours of recording for this album are going to be fraught with terror and excitement.

Life meanders on.  The experience of my life has become less than fascinating for me.  I feel that soon I shall have to do a radical shake up of some kind.  You're only young once and I feel as though I'm not so young as I was (prophetic).
